Esri's French Toast
Whip together 2 eggs, 1 cup milk, 1
tablespoon of sugar, and 1-2 teaspoons of vanilla extract (depends on how much
you like vanilla -- I go heavy on the vanilla).
In a frying pan melt butter (I like lots of butter, some folks like less -- more
butter will make the toast crispier and buttery tasting -- and much more
fattening). If you REALLY want to cut calories use a non-stick pan or cooking
spray.
Soak white or french bread (no seeds) in egg mixture -- I like mine thoroughly
soaked, some folks like it just barely coated. Then fry in butter until desired
brownness. Serve with jelly or syrup! Yummy!
